Week Three, Day Two
Hubbster didn't have to be work until later today, so we decided to shift our workout later. Even an hour and 10 minutes more of sleep made me ridiculously happy. As I was falling asleep last night, I blissfully thought: ah, tomorrow's workout is gonna rock!
Well I WAS more awake and it WAS easier to get out of bed, however, what I didn't account for was how sore I was going to be from working out the day before (especially given that it was the first workout I'd done in a week).
So my head told me: go, go, go! But my legs told me: hellllllll no.
With a finger snap.
So suffice it to say, I only made two runs of my C25K cycle, but I pushed myself with the walking. I still got sweaty. My legs still hurt. My Apple watch told me I took a lot of steps and the annoying voice on my app still said, "workout complete."
So it wasn't a complete waste.
Tomorrow is a day off and I don't think I've been this excited since Christmas morning. Okay, that's a slight exaggeration. But ya get what I'm putting down?!
