Week Nine, Day Four
Four days this week? Holla! We went grocery shopping yesterday and spent a shit ton of money on healthy food. So, I'm ready to do this thing.
I woke up ready to burn some cals. I'm not lying when I say that I'm going to be 15lbs skinnier come April 21st for my trip. Come hell or high water.
There were quite a few people at the gym today, which I take as a good sign because people are starting to work in their New Year's Resolution - which let's face it - on a Sunday, is impressive.
There was this dude doing some crazy things on a treadmill (not the annoying one) - like lunges and turns and shit. It was kind of cool. Definitely made 10 minutes of my workout go by pretty quickly.
Next week, I start a weight training regimen. I'm excited and nervous. Excited, because I really do believe that weight training could be the key to more steady weight loss and where I want to be eventually. But I have heard the warnings about gaining weight before the weight starts coming off. I'm worried about my progress being halted. That maybe cardio is where I should be focusing. I don't know. I'm just hoping that whatever I do, the progress keeps encouraging me to do and be better.
